It's hard to believe but Westgate Labs turned 21 this year! We talked to Over The Counter Magazine about our tiny beginnings. How we started out by testing our own horses in the mid 90's. It was the shock of realising what the threat of wormer resistance would do to horse health that set us on our path. Improving the way that horses are wormed and helping to tackle this is STILL what gets us out of bed every morning!
As the business has developed we've had the joy of being able to incorporate other values - investing heavily in educating horse owners, students and professionals about best practice parasite control; developing a compostable packaging range and giving back to the environment by turning 75 acres into a nature reserve, here on the farm in Northumberland, to name but a few. Being able to make a difference is the privilege of running our business. We hope you agree :)
