Westgate Labs support some wonderful charities, such as World Horse Welfare and Redwings, together helping tackle the ever present threat of parasite infection in those most vulnerable of horses.
World Horse Welfare
Providing faecal egg count tests for use by the charity's Field Officers to use during welfare visits and assisting World Horse Welfare re-homers with targeted worming practices.
Redwings Horse Sanctuary
Redwings is the UK’s largest horse sanctuary, responsible for over 2,000 horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. Westgate Labs tests horses in their centres and assist their Redwings Guardian Scheme members with targeted worming practices.
Bransby Horses
Dedicated to improving the lives of horses, donkeys and mules Bransby Horses is now one of the UK's largest equine welfare charities, currently caring for more than 400 animals. As well as testing horses in their centres, Westgate also assist their Friend for Life Fosterers with targeted worming practices.

Westgate support the busy equine practice with parasite control tests.

Cheviot Vets
As well as being Cheviot's designated testing lab for their client's worm egg counts, Cheviot is also where Westgate Labs' consultant vet Carolyn Cummins practices as an equine specialist.
